Are we to understand from the abovo extracts that there has or has not been a deadlock ? That the occupants of the 'municipal dove cot are the same, we all know, but still there is a change, and apparently that change is in our contemporary himself. Wo all remember how vigorously at one time he assailed a certain veteran councillor, but his Worship the Mayor j has been fishing" and has in some way kited Jiis hook to catch this JBno fish, aiid our contemporary,' iis' in duty, bound, is beginning; to chant the praises of. men whom whilom he! blamed.
