Princo Albert is a dapplo bay horae, live years old, stands 17 hands high, with immense bone and hair, good feet and splendid action, His sire Prince of VVnlcß, imported from Victoria, is by that unprecedented horse, Cox. Prince of Wales, acknowledged to bo the grandest horse over brought to the colonics, has never been beaten on any show ground in the world. Prince Albert's dam, Diamond, was got by that famous Iwbii Lincolnshire Hero, imported by tho Into Mr G. R, Kornside. Esq., Tasmania, and was shown at all tho principal shows in Tasmania, but was never beaten Diamond's dam, Blossom, by Matchless, imported to Tasmania by J. L Fisher Esq., is by Roses Lincoln. Blossom commenced her career as a yearling, taking first prize at the Grand Northern Show, and lirat at Westbury samo year, and as a two year old took first prize against twelve others in her own class, and tho same day took first prizo against eight three year olds. Was shown for ten years at all tho principal shows in Tasmania and never Buffered defeat, and was thon sold for two hundred guineas to go to Queensland. ~_■', Tho abuvo is tho origin of Prince Albert, and his pedigree will show that there is no better blood in tho colony. Ho has tho Shiro Blood brought in by Lincolnshire Hero, which there is so much run on in tho Homo Country [at thu present time. Tho four horses drawn lirat at the Glasgow Show in 1884 had all, more or less, Shire blood in them, this showing that such sires were proving themselves, in gotting stock of the right sort, suitable for the homo market, and the demand for exportation.
