The rules of the Wellington Racing Clnb whoro applicabfo, will bo atrictly adhered to. All protests must be made in writing to tho Secretary within ten minutes after passing tho winning poat, with a deposit of iJ sovs, which sum will bo forfeitedif tho protest is not sustained. In all nominations for Handicaps, the name, ago at time of entry, pedigrco, colour, sex, and previous performances of tho horse, namo of owner, and colors of rider must bo given, Tho winner of an advortiseil race of 50 sovs and ovor, after tho declaration of weights, to carry 71b extra in SWRO Handicap. Hack shall mean a horso which has never started for other than Hack Races; Hack Handicaps excepted, and is not now nominated for Derbys, Guineas, St. Legers, Saplings or Oaks.
