At tho Supreme Court Ciiminal sessions this day, C. S. Wedgo ui,d Thomas Hnnwood were charged with larceny, Mr S. T. Fitzherbert prosecuted for the Crown, and tho prisoners were undefended. The jury returned a verdict of guilty, and His Honor sentenced Wedge (who had other convictions against him) to two years hard labor and Henwood to one years hard labor in Wanganui Goal.
