A Good Customer.
A bar-tender in tlio back room of a country store, in mixing a drink for a customer accidentally poured in about two tablespoonfuls of turpentine. He discovered the mistake, but, saying nothing about it, lie filled tho glass with whiskey. The nffi*. drank the whiskey, smacked his lips, and walked away, Pietty soon ho returned and said " Bill, havo'nt I alius been or good customer of yourn ?" "Air alius tuck what you sot nfore mo without sayin' a word ?" " Yes." " Alius dun tho test I could for yor, Bill?" "Uv course, Andy; what's the matter with you ?" " Wal,it'sjist this, Why haven't ycr ben givin* me that good likker all tho time ? Been 'or drinkin' here over since yer started, an' jes' now is tho first time you've ever giv' me yer best likkor. Hand mo out another drink like, tho ono yer give me just now, an' we'll call it squar,"
