' Japan Clover. (To the Editor.), . Snt,—ln a recent issue of the Daily wo notice an extract from the Evening Post on Japan clover, After reading theoxtractin question, onois led away with the idea that the clover 18 now being introduced into this country for tho first tim>, whereas we landed a shipment in Wellington in December 1887. After it became known we bad tho seed we received enquiry for samples from all parts of New Zealand (having declined to sell a large quantity to any one person) which wo duly forwarded, We may uowudd that wo shall shortly land another shipment of' Japan Clovei, and several othei' new and useful fodder plants, which aro quite new in England, and havo not yet been introduced here.
