Lower Valley Jockey Club. A meeting of members of the above Club was held on Saturday night at the Martmborotigh Hotel. Thero was a good attendance and Mr J, Martin, jun., was called to the chair. The balonce sheet was read and considered satisfactory, tho sum of £l4 (is 4d beingin band after paying all expenses, The following officers were elected; President, \V. 0. Buchanan, M.H.R.; Vice-President, J. Martin, jun.; Secretary, J. MeLeod; Treasurer, G, Pain; Starter, J. MoMaster; Timekeeper, W, Armstrong; Handicapper, J. 0. Evett (if he will act); Judge, Wallace Smith; Olerk of the Scales, T. F. Evans; Clerk of the Course, John Cameron; Stewards, Messrs MoDougal), C, Harris, Dowman, Green, Orr, S. Mahupiiku, Everitt, A bonus of £5 was voted to Mr MeLeod, tho secretary, for his past services, and a voto of thanks was passed to the Hon J. Martin for the use of the course,
