The regular monthly meeting of tbe Trustees was held yesterday (Wednesday). : Present, Messrs J. Poyton ' (chairman),'' W. H, Beethanj, and B, M. Galloway, The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. Tho Treasurer reported a balance in baud of £& 7s 7d. Accounts amounting to £lO 4s 2d were passed for payment. A lotter was read from tbe olerk of tbe North Wairarapa County Council guaranteeing to provide tbe sum of £25 per month in conjunction with the Borough, if the Trustees required that amount for distribution.. . MrGallqway moved and Mr Beetbam seconded. That' it is desirable to obtain the assistance pf several ladies on the Board of Trustees,— Carried.' '■'■ ... The Chairman said thny bad three cases' on 'their hands which could be better dealt ; with by the hospital; two were coiißumptivepatientsandthe other paralysis., If dealt with by tho hospital, the Government would pay the greater portion of the dost, whereas now {ho local bodies had to defray tho whole.
