The Clerk was to request him to do so, An account of thirds accruing to the Board'had' not beoii supplied, and.it was decided to write to the Minister of Lands, It was resolved to call for tenders for making a track over the dcop creek in Parkville, Messrs Baoon. : arid Beckmaii to procure 1 date for specifications. Mr Anders 'Anderson waited on the Board, and informed it that ho was not satisfied with the £llos they had offered him as compensation for his loss on the j ' Mangamahoo contract. It was deoidedto refer tho matter to tho County Engineer. The following tenders forbushfallingontlie Central 4* Mungaone road were received:—C. 4* Funnel, 2/10 per chain (accepted): .* M.Gwinett.B/8; N. Nilson, 8/3; W.'Haywood, £ls tho whole eontract, It was decided to ask Mr G. Carter to give the Board authority to constrncttho road across hisproperty, and allow his unsold sections to he crated to pay interest on a loan for - , )Afc)nstructing tho same, The Clerk instructed to call for tenders for j fencing the office site. A special rate was mado for the payment of interest on the Parkville loan, aild it was to hold a special meeting on the 28th inst., to consider the intcn. dec! works in Parkville.
