Masterton Cricket Club.

The annual general meeting of the above club was held at Mr W.G. Beard's office 011 Saturday evening. There was a large attendance of jheinbers and Mr F. 6. Last season's practice pitch has been cut and rolled, and appears to bo in fair condition. A lawn mower was purchased last season which has proved a valuable addition to the Club's property. It will bo necessary, if possible, to invest in about 150 feet of hose for tlio purposo of keeping the pitch woll watered. A letter was received from tho Sscrotavy of the Carterton Cricket Club, asking the Club, to appoint delegates to confer with delegates

from other Clubs re arranging matches with Junior clubs and cricket matters generally. Messrs Pownall and Perry wero appointed to represent this Club. Tho meeting tlion proceeded with the election of officers for the ensuing season, which resulted as follows'. President—F.G. Moore; Vice-Presidents, Messrs W.G. Beard and S. W. Yon Sturmer, Secretary, Mr J. H. Kibblowhite; Treasurer, Mr C. Perry; Captain, Mr C, A. Pownall; Vice-Captain, Mr C, Perry; General Committee, Messrs C. E._ Bremncr, W, Igguldeii, 11. E, Mathias, W. McKcnzio, and H.B. liowlatt. ■ Match Committee, President, Captain, and Vice-Captain. Ground Committee, Messrs Moore, Brcmnfcr, and Perry, Auditor Mr S. H. Wickerson. It was resolved that the Oval trustees be requested to ascertain if the Park Trusteog will entertain a proposal for an extension of lease.
