Masterton School Committee.

The regular monthly meeting of the School Committee was held on Thursday evening, Present, Messrs Feist (chairman), Galloway, MoEwen, Hogg, and Prangnell, The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed, The Treasurer reported a credit balanco of £lol4s lid, The headmaster

It was resolved to leave the question of cleaning tho school in tlio Lauds of tho headmaster and secretary, A letter was read from Miss Galloway resigning her position as pupil teacher on account of failing health, It was resolved to accept the resignation of Miss Galloway, with a -unanimous expression of regret at tho cause, The headmaster reported the number op the roll of. sclera was 592, tho average attendance being 492,: the highest 530, and tlio lowest 31$.
