Wairarapa Gun Club.

This' Club, which is now one of the most important of its kind in the Colony met at the platform farm on Saturday, The day was a delightful one, and the shooting was in most cases excellent, many difficult shots proving successful. Among the most successful sportsmen were Messrs Buchanan M.H.8., P. F. Tancred, T. and N. Grace, and J. Bidwill. In the first match, a five-bird one, Messrs T. Grace and P. F. Tancred tied for first place, and they elected to divide the stakes, In the second match, a soven-bird one, Mr Buchanan shot every bird but one, securing first honors. Messis J. Bidwill N.
