Ihavbri ohild who has baen "afflicted with an obstinate akin disease of a most, itching nature for more than four ars, When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddi ah spots appeared in the ace about the size of a pin's head.Of course a medical man waa applied to, but it steadily increased until face and head were one dark brown crust of soresi Then it spread to the body chest, back,joints,and all fleshy parts. Medical skill appeared to be no use, but often made him worso.ln despair I looked upon tlio doctors as useless oelngs of the community. On the 17th Septomber last the child was shown \p Dr Spoer, now residing in Welllnptori. On looking at him for a minuto or two he struck at the root of the disease at once, as a mail'of great skill can do. After the first five days' trcatmont small stripes of healthy skin became risible; in less than a month the face wascleari two months a wonderful improvement on the body. Aftor four months, treatment there only remain* a few marks on the legs and wrists. TODRSPEEE. , Dear Sir,—lt is now about seven years since I was first attacked with a bad form of skin disease, It made its appearance in the shape of pimples, which rapidly spread over the whole body, and soon affected my health so soriouslythat I grew to bo a confirmed invalid, Naturally,! sought professional aid, going to the best medical men in Wellington, I was treated by two of them in succession, but without any result to myself .except the loss ol a considerable sum of raonoy. At the end of the year I found that 1 was not* in the least improved; indeed/one of these gentlemen told me candidly that everythingpossible had been done for ine,and that I need not hope to he cured, Tthen consulted a Wellington specialist, and paid him a good fee for a cure/but with exactly the same result-no change for the better. As a last resourco I applied to you about three months ago,and put myself under your hands, I am glad to be able to say that from the first I received great benefit j my health commenced to improve, my appetite also returned,and in a short time the disease Itself showed unmistakeable Bigns of. giving way. to the treatment, and now, after having boon three months under your care,l can faithfully and thankfully report myself quite recovered, My health also is compeltely restored, and Ifeel now as I have not dono formany years,, As a token of ray gratitude to you for so success fullly treating me at a time when! had lost'all hopes of being cured, I give you this testimony, which you are at liberty to make public should you so desire it.
