Dunemn, September 6, William Berwick, license of tho Palace Hotel, was' charged to-day with with selling liquor after' hours, and allowing an unlawful game with dice to be played, and employing a barmaid after Lours. Ho was fined £lO on the first, £lO on the second, and £5 on the third, the license being endorsed for the latter offence. The resident Magistrate gave an order for distress at once. . The evidence proved that a number of women of bad character, and meii were in the house drinking, gambling,, and dancing till three o'clook in the morning. ' :
