Then it spread to the body chest, back, joints, and all fleshy parts, Medical skill appeared to bo no uso, but often made him worso.ln despair I looked upon tho doctors as useless oeings of tho community. On the 17th September last tho child was shown to Dr Speer, now residing in Wellinfton, On looking at him for a minuto or two ho struck at tho rooc of tho disease at once, as a man of great skill can do. After the first five days' treatment small stripes of healthy skin became visible; in lessthiin a month tho face wasclean two months a wonderful improvement on tho body. Aftor four months treatmont there only remains a fow marks on the legs and wrists. Tho child is still under Dr Speer's cato, as he declares It will take some time yet to entirely remove it f romhis system. It must also not bo forgotten to add that tho medicines have not had the loast unpleasant effect on the internal organs, which always was the case in previous treatments, So I can confidently adviso anyone who should bo so unfortunate as to require medicr.l aid to call on Dr Speer for advico. lam&c, .
