Bluff, Thursday.

Sailed 9 a.m. Hauroto for Melbourne. Yornon, one of theHauroto's quarter masters, made a dastardly attempt to throw Captain Mac Donald, harbor master, overboard. Thrjpoicn named Hammerton, Eagerwnjand Ohalker, appeared before the Magistrate this morning and was charged with playing the. three card trick, the former on the Basin Besorve, and the others on the wharf. Hammerton was convicted and sentenced to one month's imprisonment, tho other two were acquitted.
