[From Our Own Correspondent], ; Last Sunday afternoon the funeral took place of the widow of the late well-known Qreytown Maori "Old Stewart' 1 at the old burial place, Papawai road. Between 200 and 800 spectators wero present, chiefly natives, and tho service was conducted by the Rev. Mr liewson with his usiiifcliclen? articulation and impressive manner, and soino Maori hyihiis were sung with much impression by the Natives. To tho serious oulpoker the ceremony, was mysteriously impressive.
