TO THE EDITOR, Sin,—Will you kindly insert hcso few lines in your widely circulated paper for tho benefit of whoever may concern, I have a child who has boon ifflictod with an obstinate skin disease of a most itching naturo for more than four y aw. When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in tho face about tho Bize of a pill's head.Of course a medical man waa applied to, but it steadily increased until face and head wore one dark brown crust of sores. Then it spread to the bqdy cheat, back, joints.and all flesh; parts. Medical skill appeared to be no use, but often made him worso.ln despair I looked upon tho doctors as useless oeings of tho community. On the 17th September last the child was shown to Dr Specr, now residing in Wellington. On looking at him for a minuto or two he struck at the root of tho disease tit onco, as a man of great skill can do. After tho first livo days' treatment small stripes of healthy skin became visible; in less than a month tho face wasclean two months a wonderful improvement on tho body. After four mouths treatment thero only remains n few marks on the legs and wrists. The child is still undor Dr Spcer's caro, as ho declares It will takosome time yet to entirely romovo it fromhis system. It must also not bo forgotten to add that the medicines havo not had tho least unpleasant effect on tho internal organs, which always was tho case in previous treatments. So I can confidently adviso anyone who should bo so unfortunate as to require medical aid to call on Dr Spoer for ao]vico. I am (6c, A. ANDERSON, Johssosviilb, 23rd January, 1888.
