A FEW AMONGST JO N If TESTIMIALS. TO THE EDITOR, Silt,-Will you kindly insert these few lines in your widely circulated paper for the benefit of whoever it may concern. I have ft child who has b n afflicted with nn obstinate skin disease of a most itching nature for more than I v years, When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in he face about the size of a pin's head. Of courso a meoical man was applied to, bu steadily increased until face and head wore one dark brown crust of'soros. Thonit read to the body, chest, tackjoints.sud all fleshy parts. Medical skill appeared tobe no use, but often, made him worso. In despair I looked upon the doctors as useless oeings of thu community. On the 17th September last the child was shown to Dr Speer, now residing in Wollini'ton. On looking at him for a minute or two he struck at the rooc of thn disease utonce, as a man of great skill can do. After the first live days' treatment; small stripes of healthy skin became visible; in less than a month the tace was clean two months a wonderful inimwoinont on the body. After four months treatment there only remains a few marks on the legs and wrista. The child is still tindor Dr Spcer's care, as ho declares It will tako some time yet to entirely remove it from his system. It must also not bo forgotten to add that the medicines have not had the treatments. So I can confidently adviso anyouo who should be so iniforliniato as to require medical aid to call on Dr Speer for advice I am &c, A. ANDERSON,. JoiiNSOiNViiLii, 2i!rd January, 1888.
