An inqueut on the remains of the late Dr Thorpe was held this morning, The medical evidence showed that thorewas a wonnd : on the forehead received before death, which had evidently been caused By contact with a stone or somo other hard substance, in falling, The jury returned the following verdict: "Pound drowned, but there was iio evidence to show how the oasualty.occurred. .The decased was accorded a military funeral, and about a thousand persons followed.
