The Mayor said if wis a matter for the Court to settle,' if anyone was injured by the overflow. The stream did not belong to the Council.
Cr Elkins said he had cleared his part of the stream, but there was no doubt the people had cause, of complaint for the creek was ! two or three feet higher than it used to be.
