E, C, Smith, re his contract on Ihuraua Valley road, and asking if Board will make progress payments on same. Scottish and New Zealand Investment Co,, ro change of Mr Pat. Bramiigan's property. J. McMillan, re three chains metalling overpaid him, ti, Billett, enolosing 15s rates in arrear on his sections 7 and 8, Tawataia subdivision, and requesting Board to take his name off roll, as ho has surrendered his lease. J. Pay ton and Co,, enclosing account, John Bowatead, staling that lio was paying £1 6s an acre, and enolosing sketch of road line to bo felled. Win, Murdook, requesting that his leasehold thirds be spent on the right of road loading to his place in clearing the lino and putting in a culvert, and offering to do tho work for thirds due, Eesolved.—That the Board do not intend to make progress payments on Ihuraua Yalley contract. That when the road is in use the Board will repay Bowstead the price of bush felled on road line.
