. Monday, August 13. The Native Land Court Bill was further considered in Committee Mr Taiwhanga strongly opposed Its passage this session, and threatened stonewalling' tactics, for which he was taken to task by the Premier for breach of faith, tho latter stating Mr Taiwkanya had promised to forego such a mode of opposition, This was denied by Mr Taiwhanga who stated he only referred to the Native Land Bill. In the early part of tho evening Mr Taiwhanga withdrew, stating it was useless for him to fight single-handed aeainst the Bill, Several clauses were amended and progress reported. The Native land Frauds Prevention Act Amendment Bill, and the Maori Heal Estate Management Bill were read a third time. and passed, The House then adjourned,
