A meeting of the' management committee; of the' Wairarapa' Rugby Union was held last evening at Carterton,.. when,it was decided —-, in ;view ■of .the approaching matches with the team, and the Wellington; Union; to play a North and South ipatchit. Masterton on Saturday next, and to hold' Union practices at Grey townarid .Carterton on August 25th, and September Ist, respectively., The committee recommended,that a .final trial inateh.be played at Carterton on Wednesday September- sth as the match Wellington v. Wairarapa has been accepted lor the Bth.
