The Produce Market.

Tho New Zealand Trade Review and Wellington Price current of August 11th, gives the following quotations of the produce ronrkot:—Flour has recently exhibited n' decided upward

tendency, and prices aro now £1 per ton. higher than at the date of our last tabes, roller-mill ruling £9 15s to JTC,'andstono-niilU9 5s to B 10* rjjfer ton. Wheat is also in improved yaloo, and fowl grain i 3 commanding 2s 4d to 2s 9d- per bushel.' Fowl's barley is, however, still neglected at 28 7d to 2s Bd. Oats are still in good demand for Australian account, and prices about 3d dearer, quotations ruling 2s 3d to 2s fid per bushel, Maize is in only limited request at 3s Btl to 3a j)d. Oatmeal is firm at £lO Bs per ton. Bran and Pollard are still in good demand at Cos and 75s per ton respectively, Factories are sending out supplies of hams and bacon in excess of requirements, the demand for Australia having subsided,' and tho value has receded to 7d per lb all round. Butter and cheese continue in excellent request at our last quotations of lOd tolo|d per lb for butter, and i\i to 5d for chocso, We hear of as high as Is 4d por lb having been secured in Sydney for prini9 New Zealand keg butter. Potatoes are still (•••g bought freely for Australia, 'and : /'pThies have improved by 30s per ton. The present quotation is 75s per ton, with, prospect of still further advance ' if the demand is maintained.
