The Clerk read the agreement which he had drafted in reference to the gift of land from Messrs Mauusoll and Cadwallader for a road, The agreement as read was approved, Mr Welch re bushfelling, Left in the hands of the Warden, L. Nix asking that tenders be called for fencing tlio road running through his land. The application was acceded to. Tenders woro opened for two contracts on Perry's road, wlion Cephas and Monaghan's for 50 chains of formation and metalling at 8s Sdper chain was accepted, and H. R. Burgess for 58 chains at 5s 9d per chain. Sorno accounts were passed for payment and the meeting terminated.
