A Foresters' Benefit.
(To the Editor.) Mauriceville, July 28. Sm-1 have tho pleasure of sending you tho financial report re tho concert and dance held on 27th inst. for the benefit of brother Ole Andersen, The affair was a great success, tho sum of £lO 12s being gathered aim duly handed over to Bro. Andersen, together with a letter of sympathy from the -seoretary on behalf of Court Kopuaraiiga, The members of the Court wish to express their sincere thanks through your paper to those who so kindly came forward to the call of the Foresters, especially the musioians, Mr Alfred Vile and Bro John Craig, who were kept going the whole night, twenty-six dances being gone through; also to Mrs N. Neilsen, who assisted at the pianoforte. Tho Foresters are going to be a great success in Mauriceville. There are twenty-seven members in the Order now, and thirteen to be initiated next Court night, which will swell our numbers .up to forty, not so bad for three months, I am, ko., Georub-Frotin,
