TO THE EDITOR, Snt,—Will you kindly insert these few lines in your widely circulated papor for tho benefit of whoever it may concern. I havo a child who has been afflicted with an obstinate skin disease of a most itching nature for more than seven years, When six weeks old, or thereabouts, small reddish spots appeared in tho face about the sizo of a pin's head. Of courso a medical man was applied to, but it steadily increased until face and head wero ono dark brown crust of sores, Then it spread to the body, chest, back, joints,!md all fleshy parts. Medical skill appoared tobo of no use, but often, made him worso. In despair I looked upon tho doctors as useless beings of tho community. On tho 17th September last the child was 6hown to Dr Speer, now residing in Woilin»ton, On looking at linn for a niinuto or two he struck at the root of tho diseaso atoiico, as a man of great skill can do. After the first five days' treatment; small stripes of healthy skin became visible; in less than a month the lace was clean two months a wonderful improvement on tho body. After four mouths treatment thero only romains a fow marks on tho logs and mists. Tho child is still uudor Dr Speer's care, as ho declares It will toko some time yet to entirely roinovo it from his system, It must also not bo forgotten to add that the medicines havo not had the least unpleasant ell'ect on tho internal organs, which always was tho case in previous treatments, So I can confidently advise anyone who should bo so unfortunate as to require medical aid to callon Dr Speer for advice. lam&c, A.ANDERSON. Johnsonviile, 23rd January, 1888. I will willingly give any further information to any person who will cither call or address mo at Johnsonvillo.
