London, f ; July 20. The barque Bisineus, bound from Port Pirie to London, met with excapr tionally heavy weather, and had to put into the Cape of Good Hope, tho vessel and cargo having received considerable damage. The barque Bed { Gauntlet, bound to the same port, also met with bad weather, and had to put into St. Helena to repair damage. A portion ofher cargo was jettisoned.: Mr Keane, a West Australian, has arranged for a financial firm in Germany to, undertake the construction of the Guilford.and Champion Kailway, in Western Australia, It is intended to settle German immigrants along the line, Tom au Phinoe, July 20.

The recent fires were evidently the workof incendiaries, as they broke out in different parts of the town. The French and English. Legation- are strongly guarded by.Frerioh sailors.
