A meeting of the above was held at the Institute, Carterton, on Saturday. Mr A. Matthews, President, in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed. A .letter was read from Mr Beard re'the Wairarapa Investment Society taking over tho mortgage on the Society's show grounds. Mr Booth explained that the Investment Society had no objection to taking over tho mortgage providing throe guarantors weroappoin ted to bosecurity i'pr tho payments to the Society.
