T A meeting of the Board was held on 'T?an, and Messrs Moßae and Antherlunl. A letter was read fr/m Messrs Smith and Hogg, stating terms for advertising in future, A letter wan also read from the County Engineer, stating that an , oxtra amount for £9los is duo. That amount was passed for payment. A communication from same, slating the cost of Mun»arao Koad to he £3O. It was resolved that as the estimated sum far exceeds tho sum granted, if tho settlors who benefitted by the road provided a sum equal to what tho Board had already granted, tho Board would carry out the work. Ee Wilton's applications of the last meeting, it was resolved that the roadman do work on his road to tho value of A provided that Wilton does work to the equal amount, In ro Mackny's demand for the re-erection offence, Unsolved that Mr Maclwy ho granted £5 to re-erect, 'A.fed. tbiit lie be given n cheque for £,&, Xsjiaymontin full for all claims against Board. Eesolved that a rata of a farthing in the £ lio struck on all tho rateable area in the district, Tho following amounts were passed for payment :-G. E. Hood, £5 15s clearing slips; Smith and Hogg £l7 9a U for advertising.
