Robbing and Pierard's building is said to be insured for £SOO, and so far as tho insurances are known the Phccnix Oflicehas MOOon the stock of ironmongery, and the North German has i'SOO on the grocery stock, Donnelly's stock is uninsured; the building is insured for £IOO, Considerable loss is inflicted on adjoining shops, and large injury through salvagos. The front buildings across tho street also caught fire once or twice, and were scorched and iujured by the fire. The fire was subdued at six o'clock, having lasted about an hour and a half. Had tho night not been calm and frosty the fire must bavo swept half the town.
