Eketahuna Road Board.

An ordinary meoting of tlio Board was held at the office of tho Board ou the 80th ult. Present—Messrs A. Anderson, (chairman), M. Noilson, S. Bacon, and A, Wyllie. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence inwards ~ From County Engineer complaining that Sir Anders Anderson had not completed his contract at Mangamahoe; from same certifying the completion of tlid bridge at Central Mangaone road West; from Colonial Secretary stating he had gazetted the election of Mr A. Wyllie as a member of the Board; from Commissioner of Crown Lands stating that the Government had decided it was not the duty of tho staff at tho Crown Lands Office to supply local bodies with particulars of lands sold. ' Resolved that the Commissioner of Crown Lands be asked who are the proper parties to apply to for lists of Crown lands sold. Through the Chairman, the Alfredton, Koad Board applied to have that portion of the Tawatai Bond, which is the boundary of the districts, formed, and engaging to form the other half, Eesolvedtlmt the Alfredton Board be informed that this Board has no funds available for the work. : Mr Hayward waited on the Board offering to open up the line on the
