Mauriceville Road Board.
The ordinary meeting of the Board was held on Saturday last. Present: Messrs Gunder Gunderson (chairman) Chas, Foraberg, Hugh W. Jackson, and J. Bannister. Correspondence was read as follows: From Paymaster General, advising payment of £B9O 16a and £BO 4s. From Bank of Now South Wales, advising having received £471. From Colonial Secretary re election. The Collector reported having received rates amounting to £6l4s fid. The Treasurer reported balance in Bank £2Bl 18s 2d, cash in hand £7 14s sd. It was resolved to striko a general rate of fd in the £ on the rateable value of the property within the district for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1888, and onding on the 31st day of March, 1889; payable iu one sum on the 80th July, 1888, at Mr Gunderson's Central Store, Mauriceville. Accounts amounting to £74 lis 6d were passed for payment. A hearty vote of thanks "..was accorded to Mr Jessen for the use of room and assistance, This concluded the meeting.
