Wairarapa Exhibition.
SECOND DAY.
Considerable interest was taken in the Exhibition yesterday. In the afternoon some five or six hundred school children accompanied by several teachers wore conducted through the building, and as far as practicable a description of the exhibits was given, During the afternoon and evening about five hundred persons visited the Exhibition, and there was much more comfort in malting an inspection than on the first day. In the evening the Volunteer and Philharmonic Bands played at intervals, and a first class programme was again presented, containing the following items: Overture, Volunteer Band; chorus, Choir; song, " Close to the Threshold," Mr Wickersou; song, "Tit for Tat," Miss Bowler (encored); selection, Volunteer Band; glee, Choir; piano duct, Missos Oorbett and Turner; song, "The Diver," Mr Gaskill; song, Ora Pro Nobis,'' Miss Lowes (encored); chorus, Choir; finale, Voluuteer Band. An entirely new programme is arranged for this evening.
