Brisbane, June 16,
The triple murder which occurred during a Malay festival at JN T ormanton has resulted in a European riot. The latter burnt all the houses of aliens residing at Norman ton, besides their nets and fishing boats, and the loss is estimated at £2OOO. All the aliens have left town, The mob threatens to lynch the murderer, and it is feared trouble may arise, as most of the aliens are armed.

Great excitement lias been caused by the news that a derelict vessel o! apparently about 1200 tons burden Inn been found at sea, and is being towed into Port Stephen, a few miles north o' here. Her name is at present unknown.
