England v New South Wales. Return latch. Sydney, June 9, For the return football match between England and New South Wales this afternoon there was splendid weather. A large attendance watched the game. Some slight alterations were made in the local team since the last match. The New South Wales men played in much better form to-day, and in the first spell secured 0 points to 2 by the Englishmen. In the last spell the Englishmen played with great dash, running through their opponents, and added 16 more points to their score, tlms winning the game by 12 points.
The following team will represent the Greytown Club in the senior cup match with Masterton on the Worksop Road ground on Saturday next: 0. J. Beard (captain), 0. Amos, J. Beard, 0. E, Bryce, Connolly, Ferrick, Mitchell, Muir, Terry, Tocker, H, Tally, E. Udy, A. Udy, C. Udy, Webster; emergencies, A. J. Beard,' O. Coleman and 11. Humphries. The Masterton team will not be selected till Wednesday owing to the absence of Mr W. Hirschberg, one of the match committee.
The following have been selected to represent the lied Star Club (as No. 2 team) 111 the Junior Cup match, Bed Stars v, Greytown second fifteen, at Greytown on Saturday next:— Back—Harry Welch; three-quarters —E.
