1 Messks Lowes and lorns report at their sale yesterday all stock entered come forward, and all sold under the hammer, prices being firm and slightly in excess of former sales. We penned 2,200 sheep which sold as follows Fat wethers, medium weights, 9s 10d; small, 8s to 8s 9d; fat ewes, 7s 9d to Bs, being about 2d and lfd per lb respectively; store wethers, ordinary, 7s 6(1; dry ewes, Cs; breeding ewes in lamb 5s for medium to 7s 9tl for good; merino ewes in lamb, 2s Gd. In cattle we yarded 7(1 liead being mostly large. Beef plain made from £4 10s to £4 las, or 13s fid lOOlbs; Cow and heifer beef 45s to 555, lis Gd lOOlbs; store bullocks 50s to GOs; small steers 40s; store cows 30s; dairy heifers, 40s to 50s; dairy cows 1410s.
