AKITIO ROAD BOARD.

A meeting of the Akilio Road Board was held on Thursday last at Aohatiga, Present: Messrs Handyside, Foreman, Harvey and Burling had been elected members of the Board, and that the first business was the election of a Chairman for the ensuing yja# On the motion of Mr Harvey seconded by Mr Foreman, Mr Handyside was elected Chairman of the Board. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer reported balance in bank £155 Is Bd. Correspondence was read inwards from the County Clerk applying tor a copy of the annual accounts of the Board. From same with account for ,£3l2s expenses in connection with the formation of the Akitio Koad District. From Colonial Secretary's Office s(£hg that the election of members ofm Board hud been duly gazetted. The Clerk of Works report was read and considered.
