Wairarapa Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Association.
A meeting of the General Committee of tlio above was held last eveniug;and was well attended, MrElluns in the chair. The prize schedule was revised and the following classes added: Game cocks, old English style; do hens; pair Guinea fowls; best pair crossbred fowls for table purposes, ditto for laying; best pair dressed poultry, with head and legs left on; 12 lien eggs, heaviest. ■ The date of the show was fixed for Wednesday and Thursday, Bth and 9th August, entries to close on Saturday, 4th August. Messrs Elkins, Hooper, Anketell, White, Dixon, and the Secretary were appointed a sub-committee to arrange re show pens. The names of Messrs J. D. Oakly (Peatherston), J. R. Skelly (Wellington), and M. Williams (Masterton) were added to the C'ommittee, and the meeting adjourned.
