Fatal Accident,
Waipukmiua, May 27.
There died here this morning one of Waipawa's best known in the person of Mr Henry J. .Baker, the brewer, He was about to return home at the luncheon hour, and went into the Empire stable yard and got his horse. As he was in the act of mounting the horse reared and threw him heavily on his head, lacerating the scalp dreadfully, He was attended by Drs Mirhach and Mall, The wound was dressed, and then Mr Baker recovered consciousness, only to relapse again a few minutes afterwards, He remained in this state {ill 1 o'clock {his morning, wlieu lie died,
