At a meeting direotors on I'ues- , Jay last, returns were read of tlio of cheese shipped per Kai-. lioura, which realised 48s, and advice of the sale of a shipment by the A raw a at 52s per cwt. The Secretary stated that the quantity of milk received for the season was 100,78-1 gallons, for which the advances made by the company at 2d per gallon amounted to £839. Tliero were now fourteen tons of cheese in the factory, and 22 tons B(staHome for which no advice has yet m received. It was resolved to send home a further 5 parcel of cheese in tlio Doric. TaratahiA meeting of the Taratahi Dairy Company was held the same evening, when it was reported that the shipment by the Doric realised 46s per cwt and that by the Arawa 50s. Just upon 95,000 gallons of milk had been received for the season at 2id per or a total of £9BB. With the Eduction of freight recently announced it would take £2los Gd per cwt in London to clear the 2id per gallon. Five tons of cheese are now in stock.—Standard.
