The Cook's Strait Cable, Blenheim, Fridav, Dr Lemon, who arrived here this morning, proceeded to White's Bay for the purpose of verifying his tests at this side of Cook's Strait as to the position of the break in the cable. Should the weather keep fine he expects to. have the cable in working order in ten or twelve days,
