Messes Lowes & loiins report of their sale at Messrs Hercock and Tallin's plant at the Tauern on Thursday, the attendance was largo, and the bidding for the plant, stock, and properties throughout brisk, the greater portion of the horses and vehicles as also tho properties being secured by one or other of the firm, The following are the prices obtained: —Freehold of 17 acres of land at tho Taueni, Mr D'Arcy, as agent, £9los per acre; Nine acres oi' freehold at Taueru,plr D'Arcy, as agent, £9 10s per acre; Oho acre with buildings at Taueru, Mr .Rogers as agent, £2-10; Equity of redemption of 10 acres at Taueru, Mr liogera, as agent, £3O; Goodwill of leasehold at M ungapakeha, Mr Rogers, as agent, 170; Two leaseholds at Mungapakeha, Hercock £l3 and £10; Twenty horses ranged from £l7los to £25; Waggons £25 to £32; Drays, ploughs, harness, h. also sold well, and forty head of store cattle ranged-from 21s to 40s per head.
