The Town Lands Trust Election.
(To the Editor.) Sin,—You are aware that there are four candidates in the field for the honor of a seat at the Board of Trustees, of whom :,Ir Renall is one. You are also aware of the very mihappy state in which the Borough "is placed by the eccentricities of this member, Many of you are aware that when Mr Renall was a member of the Town Lands Trust he made himself very unpopular and disagreeable, owing to the Trustees having taken action to restore to the town certain lands to which Mr Renall laid claim, but to which the Parliament of the Colony, 011 investigation in 1883, declared by its Act he had no claim; hence his objection to the members of the Trust, men who you are aware have discharged their duty to the satisfaction of the citizens. I ask you, therefore, seriously to consider the very unsatisfactory state in which matters are drifting, and hope you will record your votes on Thursday for men of more action and less unnecessary talk and bunkum, 1 am, etc,, . Settles! .
