Native Fatality,
Tauhanga, Friday. At Kotorm, last night, a Native military pensioner was ridden over by another Native and died this morning from the injuries. The other Native, had his arm dislocated and has been arrested pending the inquest, The Native Lands PurchaseMoney Frauds. Tauranga, Friday. The cases against Natives for defrauding the Government of land purchase moneys by personation are now proceeding. The accused allege that they wore induced to commit the offence by the Government purchase officer, Mr David Asher.
