"VTOTICK is hereby given, that the Xi Council proposes to apply for a loan under the Local Bodies Loans Acts for the purpose of reducing the grades on the Masterton-Waiuiata road, between Taueru Bridge and Kahumingi, and metalling between the Mangapakeha bridge and Tinui. The sum to bo borrowed is £3OOO. It is proposed to pledgo as security for such loan, the net profits from a toll gate to be established near tho Taueru Bridge. Meetings of ratepayers to consider the proposal will be held at 3 p.m, on Friday, April 13th, at the Tinui Public Hall, and Blairlogie Junction Hotel. BY ORDER, F. G.
