The Carterton Tournament, The above tournament was concluded yesterday, Mr Seed and Mrs Broadbent proving victorious and securing the rackets awarded as prizes. The sets resulted as under: -2nd round—Mr Snodgrass and Miss Chatwin, beat Mr Samuel and Miss S. Brann ; i\lr Seed and Mrs Broadbent beat Mr Wiseman and Mrs Samuel. Final -Mr Seed and Mrs Broadbent (with 30 given) beat Mr Snodgras3 and Miss Chatwin, The iinal contest was very close and interesting, The sets were won G to 5, 5 to 0, and G to -1. The linal games in the first two sets were advantage all, making the contests as keen as it was possible for them to be.
