THE UNDERSIGNED has much pleasure in announcing that he has purchased the business established by the late Mr Alfred Feist in 1805, and successfully carried on by Mr EDWIN FEIST for the last eighteen years, and now solicits the support of the inhabitants of Masterton and surrounding districts. Owing to his knowledgo and connection with the first Home and Colonial markets, he will be in a position to import direct (thus saving intermediate profits, and giving his customers "the benefits) in all departments, as hitherto. First class quality shall be kept in the VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS, viz: DRAPEiiY, Dress Stuffs, Calicoes, Flannels, Shirting, His'ery, Gloves, Men's, Youths', and Boys' English and Colonial-made Clothing, also a large and well-selected Stock of English and Colonial BOOTS and SHOES. In this Department it shall be my study to supply all GOODS OF THE BEST QUALITY at the LOWEST POSSIBLE PRICE. Having had good experience in testing and blending teas, special value shall be offered, and by keeping the same brands shall be able to give my customers a real treat in that refreshing beverage.
