The fourth annual report of the W#ngton Meat Preserving Company sliows a loss on the year's operations of 13958. It is intended to bring three resolutions before the shareto contraliso business; (2) to confine business to ordinary butchering; and (3) to liquidate the Company.

ALARMING BUSH FIRES. Woodyille, February 11. A fierce gale of wind last night caused bush fires to spread rapidly in every direction. For about three hours the whole town was in eminent danger whon a fortunate shift in the direction of the wind lessened the danger. The whole town turned out, and were hard at work all night swing property. So far as can bo ascertained only two houses have been destroyed. The wind has now slackened, but as it is sure to rise again in the evening Another busy night is anticipated.
